Boston terriers are known to be intelligent little dogs.
Of course we know that all terriers are smart, maybe a bit stubborn but, still smart. The AKC does not consider them a “true terrier”, they are put in the Non Sporting group. I think being cute, smart, and stubborn is a pretty good reason to say they are thought of as terriers by many people.
These dogs are sturdy guys with a ‘squarish’ head, short tail, and erect (standee up) ears.
Because they normally have a white chest and collar band, they always looked dressed for an event. Very classy looking.
Boston’s make great pets. They were breed to be companion dogs and are happy to be with their people.
