Boston, Massachusetts is stepping up to help owners of Pit Bulls!

Woofaroonie! We love pit bulls but, we also know that many owners just want them for lovable pets. They really don't ever plan on breeding them but, accidents can happen. Well, unless your sweet bullie is spayed or neutered then you never have to worry about a litter of pups.

If you are a resident of Boston and have a pit bull you can have them spayed or neutered for FREE! The Animal Rescue League of Boston is participating in The Massachusetts Animal Coalition (MAC)-sponsored “Free Spay/Neuter Day for Pit Bulls” on Sunday, May 16, 2010!

You can go to Animal Rescue League of Boston to get the phone number and location for this great event. They don't say how many dogs they have room for so, get over there now and make your appointment.

Just so ya know...our family loves Pit Bulls. We know that they are some of the greatest dogs in the world. We also know that shelters all over are being filled with pits and pit mixes that don't have homes. Please spay or neuter so the ones that are now in shelters have a better chance of finding a home.
