You guys know what’s really cool? When someone helps animals. Of course, who doesn’t just love us anipals? Well, this really cool human named Dave Cozzolino owns a pet shop, and like most pet shop owner, he sells animals… Including selling puppies kittens. The doggies were what you call "designer dog” and of course they (along with kitties) we all purebreds. Unlike me, these “designer dogs” were high priced, because they came from other pure breed dogs. But you know what? This Dave guy thought it would be really cool to help the kind of doggies who weren’t as pure, and were their OWN breed instead.

So guess what? Now he sells only shelter dogs and cats. How cool is that? More people definitely need to get some shelter doggies.

He said in a statement to CBS News:

"After we first announced it, it was such a huge relief off my shoulders that I can now help instead of add, maybe, to a problem."
