Everywhere all over the USA celebrated Spay Day on Feb. 23, 2010

Even here in Las Vegas they had a little special info about how important it is to get your pets spayed or neutered.

I was amazed at how many animals get euthanized every year in Clark County, Nevada.

So many great animals that just do not have homes.

In fact there is really no way to find all of these animals’ homes. We got more pets than we got places to put them.

You can watch this video clip that was shown on KLAS Channel 8 news here in Vegas. The reporter tells how many animals enter and get adopted at 1 shelter.

Now if you listened you heard that there is a place to get reduced cost Spay and neuter in the Vegas area. Low Cost Spay and Neuter of Southern Nevada

We went to the site and they do offer this service for much less than most area vets.

We just found another low cost option The Las Vegas Valley Humane Society (LVVHS) offers low cost spay and neuter clinics for cats and referrals for dogs. So also check the SNIP Clinics.

I think it would be much better to get your furry family fixed and not have more puppies or kittens that have no where to go.

There are so many great animals to choose from that are at shelters, just go look…I bet you can find your new best friend there waiting for you.
