Last year the Funny Bones of Las Vegas event was so great that they are coming back to do it again. The 2011 event is sure to be huge success. We have updated the info to reflect the 2011 dates and times.

I have some great news for all you folks that love to help rescue dogs and those of you which like to Bark Out Loud (well, laugh is what you humans do). You gotta check out the Funny Bones Event!

Las Vegas is getting turned on its heads! Some very cool people are gonna make this town the ‘Dog Luvin City’ it should be.
That’s right…Sin City is goin to the dogs!

Ok, so us dogs are not allowed to be at this event but, that’s ok. You know the ol sayin “When momma is happy, everybody is happy”. That’s why you make sure your mom and dad get to the Funny Bones show…they will come home happy as can be…then you just put on the cutest face ever….and take in all the good lovin.

UPDATE for 2011 Event! Palms Casino Resort and famed comedian royalty Sammy Shore will hit a funny bone for animals with the second annual Funny Bones comedy act 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 30, 2011 inside the Palms Ballroom.

Funny Bones comedy jam boasts an all-star comedy cast emceed by Sammy Shore, co-hosted by Bobby Slatton, and funny friends who will be slinging out the giggles are Vinnie Favorito, George Wallace, Pauly Shore, Dennis Blair, Geechy Guy, James P. Connolly and Doug Starks. The show will also feature soap opera actress and Broadway star Catherine Hickland, DJ Ben Harris of the Terry Fator Show and other special guests.

The funds raised from this year’s comedy jam will go to the Funny Bones Foundation. The purpose of Funny Bones Foundation is to provide financial support to abandoned animals in need of advanced medical and surgical care that are under the care of established non-profit animal rescue organizations in Clark County by generating funds through comedy events and fundraising.

Tickets are only $39.95 and can be purchased at the Palms Casino Resort box office, open from noon until 7 p.m. daily or through TicketMaster. For ticketing information, please call 702-944-3200.

Self parking is located in the East garage of Hugh Hefner Dr and the West garage off of either Flamingo or Arville Rd.
Valet parking is available at the main entrance or West valet near the movie theatres.

Will Call may be picked up 4 hours prior to the event time.
*Only the cardholder with ID and credit card used can pick up Will Call tickets.

General Rules:
No cameras, audio or video recording devices are allowed in the Palms Ballroom. Any such devices may be subject to confiscation.
There are no refunds or exchanges for tickets purchased. If an event is canceled or rescheduled, tickets may be refunded at the original point of purchase.

Children Rules:
Except where age restrictions are noted, everyone is welcome to attend events at the Pearl. Everyone regardless of age must have a ticket to enter the theater.
