Dogs with Accessories

The Lagotto Romagnolo is originally from Italy, but they are very popular in Sweden. In both places it is often used as a hunting or guard dog. It is a hypoallergenic dog, because it does not shed. Maybe President Barack Obama should get one of these! It has hair allot like a poodle, and the hair is allot of work. It will mat if not brushed everyday, and washed regularly.

They are really good with older children and other animals if they have grown up with them. Even when they are older they are great, but like with any dog, you need to make sure they are ok around the person(s).

Lagottos’ are very intelligent dogs, and fairly easy to train. They do not respond well to yelling, so be gentle and patient with them.

They are not recommended if you live in a small area, such as an apartment. They are very hyper and always need a job to do or they will find one to do themselves and no one wants that because they can become very destructive.

They absolutely LOVE to dig for rodents and bugs, and anything else they can think of. So if you have a garden or anything, it will not last long if you do not keep them away from it.

These dogs are said to be almost the perfect dog, they are not to small/big. They do not cause allergies and they are smart and easy to train. We will not mention the destructive part, oops, already did that!
