Hey guys,
I know that Halloween is coming up this week. It’s been a year since last time we had to go through this and maybe it is the first Halloween for some of you pups.

Thought I should send out a little support.
Some of you are going to get all dressed up in outfits so you can go out with the family to trick or treat. Many of us are just staying home and hangin out.

Now whether you are out walkin the street with kids or just answering the door at home – most of these kids are gonna say “oh look a cute doggy”. Just suck it up guys you can be a cute doggy for 1 night. We all know that you are actually king/queen of the house.

What I have to say next is really important – The kids you see are super excited! They have waited a whole year for this night! Not only that but many of them are wired to the hilt on sugar! Yeah, they take these kids around to get pounds of sugar! (I can’t go to the neighbors and pee on their tree but, kids can ask for candy?) Who knows how much sugar they have eaten by the time they see you. Kids + Sugar = loud, noisy, jumping, and maybe even grabby miniature people! You have to be prepared for all of this. You must keep your cool, remember no growling or snarling!

For you big dogs – you know who you are! You have those tails that hit like a 2x4. Keep your tail down! Yeah if you are not paying attention you will whack some little bitty kid, they will fall to the ground, and cry! That means more noise! We do not need that! So my advice is keep your butt turned AWAY from the little people, they don’t want to sniff it anyway!

For you dogs that like to jump! Do not jump on the kids! Think about what could happen. You may have kids lined up at the door 10 deep. You jump on the one in the front and then they all start falling like a stack of dominos, into a heap of costumed mess. Hey, picturing that was kinda funny. Could you imagine doing that with a video cam running? WoooHooo, the YouTube hits that would get. Oooops, just got my paws slapped for that one. I said “do not do that, hmmm, it would NOT be funny”! Nope don’t even think about it!

For any of you that think you can not handle yourself in a mature (non freaked out) way – go to the bedroom. Yip, just go in a room have them shut the door and watch some TV! Maybe a cold beer and a bowl of peanuts, not for you, for your dad! You know he is gonna be hinding from all that racket ASAP!

If you need to just go hide, do not be ashamed, some of us just do not have the DNA to handle all of the excitement.

If you are a runner listen up! I know that when some of you get frightened you will run right out the door or gate – not a good idea! Then you are out in the crazy mess, it is dark, and there are crazy drivers on the road! Stay inside!

As my friend the Australian Shepard would say ‘No worries mate, it will all be over in a couple of hours’. Unless you own a few little people then it will all be over when the candy is gone. Oh the candy! Do not eat it!!!! At my house when someone eats candy, mom makes them brush their teeth. Nothin is worth getting my teeth brushed!

Ok, Ok! Tomarra wants me to tell you that candy can make a dog sick. So sick they could even die. Being sick is no fun but, being dead would be a really big bummer! There I hope Mrs. Health and fitness is happy now that I did her ‘public service’ announcement.

So, I was on Twitter today, looking at all my fellow twitter pups and I came across this pretty cool dude. He (dogster) has some awesome links for some dog sites and other cool stuff. I clicked on a few and found these polls for your dogs. Of course it’s actually for HUMANS to do, but well, I guess we do need help with that stuff.

It’s kind of a no brainer to play, but it’s something to do when you’re bored, I played a few, and I had fun. Though I am easily amused, so that’s not saying much. Ha!

Sooo if you’re uber bored, just grab your dog and take some polls. No, I did not say let your dog PEE on polls, just play them.

I have decided that cats are stupider then I though at first, I mean honestly. I was on youtube and decided to watch bomb cats and make fun of their misfortunes, because I’m just mean like that. HA!

Anyway, When I was on youtube, I found this video that I just could NOT help but write about. Honestly why would something (cats) do that? I know I would never be like THAT. I’ve done some goofy stuff, but come on. When I saw that I was like O_O it’s awesome.

So, here are some strange cats. I found it slightly funny, cats may NOT.

Tomarra

Down in New Orleans they have decided to make sure some of the dogs and cats will be safe this time. They’re putting them into crates and staking them into semi trucks.

They’re trying to get as many as they can. They say the animals will be safe and will be checked on (If possible) about every two to three hours.

Some people do not like the way they are doing this. Sometimes humans amaze me. I mean they don’t like the dogs and cats in such a confined small place, but would they prefer the pets stay and wait for THE HURRICANE.

Once the people get the animals to where they need to be, they have one week to be found by their owners or they'll be put of for adoption. I guess that makes since to do it that way, if they didn’t they may be bombarded with so many animals.

So many people lost their pets last time in Hurricane Katrina. This way, at least some of them will be saved. I think it’s awesome. I know if I was down there I would totally want them to do something like this.

Hopefully they have gotten allot out of there and I’m sure they will be as safe as they can be.

Though Gustav is not near as bad as Katrina, I know they didn’t want to take any chances.

Hey guys, how’s it waggin’?

I know you have all heard about that show so many people watch on TV called the Dog Whisper.
What is up with that?
I don’t listen to people whispering. I’m a Terrier; I do not even pay attention to people yelling. Ok, I do hear them; I just decide when I want to act like I hear them.

All people can whisper but, how many dogs Twitter?
I decided that if I want anyone to stop in and read my new Dogs with Accessories Blog then I have to go out and mark my spot! To do that – I just went and raised my leg all over Twitter.
I even made a new friend Roscoe, seems like one cool dog. I just want some of those ribs Roscoe was barkin’ about.
You’ll also find Tomarra there. She’s kinda being quiet – just wait till she gets going. Her ear piercing bark will make you want to dig a big hole and stick her in it.
Not really! I’m joking, ok! Can’t tease her to much or she’ll crap by the car door and blame me.

What I want to know is – when will we get a show about Dog Twittering? Think of all the cool accessories we could buy if we were dog stars! Oh yea, get me some stylin’ doggles, a huge dog bed with a big ol plush pad, and maybe even a rhinestone collar for the latest flame.

Ok, better get back to butt sniffin’ on Twitter – gotta’ be some more dogs out there.
