I know that many people would love to have their dogs do extraordinary tricks.

I know my people would love to have me do super cool things like…listen. Or maybe jump through a hoop…maybe something other than just laying around.

See, I would do some tricks when I was younger but, my peoples just kind of stopped working with me on lots of those things. They were the easy things like fetching, shaking, even a high 5. All those are great starter tricks so, I can learn to listen, do the trick, and get me a reward. I would prefer a Bully Sticks Chicken Treat after every life daring move, but they do not always think shaking is really a big feat. I can still do all of my old tricks, I just have to be reminded. I’m not going to just do them on my own; I need my people to ‘participate in my actions’. BOL!

See this video below is of Super Dogs doing tricks that I have yet to do. I’ll get there one day…just not today. Slow and steady is the way. I’m sure that these dogs did not learn all of these stunts in 1 sitting. Nope I bet they each learned 1 thing at a time. After they got 1 trick down then they would learn the next. They also have to work at it everyday I bet.

So all you superstar dogs remember that training takes time. You need positive reinforcement. You have to have trust and patients. Then you and your people will have your own Super Dogs video.

Keep practicing and do not get discouraged if 1 trick does not work at first. It will come if you stick with it!

Oh yeah, do NOT forget that reward after a hard days work! You deserve it!
