Crazy People Dyieing Cats & Dogs

Holy dog poop !
Who would do this?
Ok, I could see maybe doing a little dye job on a little spot for a special occasion but not coloring the whole dog.

Just think how many people scream when you put a hat on a dog...now people are gonna put colors all over it.

When ya go to that link below, your gonna see the dogs in a LITTLE display case. What do they think they are a toy?

You don't display dogs or even a cat in a little window. The poor critters can't even move.

And how did they get them animals to be still while they dyed they so perfectly? If someone tried this on me...I'd be jumpin around like a crazy dog!

Ok, I'll stop barkin and let you read what I'm all fired up about!

Dyeing pets is popular countries like Japan and Korea, also China is quickly catching on. Beijing just had their first national pet dyeing competition.

Visit the Ruowen Pet Spa is like entering a doggie costume contest. There's turtle-dog, zebra-dog, Spider-Man-dog, tiger-dog and even panda-dog. Raphael the toy poodle runs around in his pen like any other dog except his snow white coat has been dyed neon green with partially shaved with a protruding shell on top to resemble a turtle. He seems oblivious to his unique look but enjoys the attention of onlookers. People already love to show off their pets and draw attention, Kung Fu, a 10-month-old Old English sheepdog, can barely make it down the street without swarms gathering to admire his thick coat dyed to look like a panda. The dog owners say the attention their canines receive has improved their mental well-being. Kung Fu loves the attention, and his self confidence has shot up since lots of pretty girls come up to pet him, said Yang, a 31-year-old housewife from Beijing.

The Ruowen Pet Spa charges anywhere from $7 to dye one ear to $300 for permanent dyeing and trimming of larger dogs, most dye jobs lasting six months before the hair grows out.

See what I'm bark raving mad about?
Would you do that to your pet?

There's a Cat in that Dogs Tummy

Hey there,
Wanted to tell you about a story I found today. It's about a dog that ate a cat. Guess it didn't just eat it but, it looked like she pretty much swallowed the cat whole.

Now before you get all freaked out...it was not the type of big, bad, ugly dog you are probably thinking.
Yip, looks can sometimes be deceiving. The dog in this story was a little cute, prim and proper looking gal.
An all white furry butt named Snowy. She is a West Highland Terrier.

Sure we all know that terriers are known rodent hunters and maybe some are cat hunters too. But, seldom do ya think a Westie is gonna swallow a cat whole.
In fact ya gotta see it for yourself. Yeah, you can go over to Amazing X-rays of dog who ate...
There they have the picture of this dogs tummy and looking right at you from inside its tummy is a cat!
If I believed in Extra Terrestrials I would say they kidnapped this dog and implanted a cat as a weird experiment.

But, they say in the post that ET wasn't involved....hmmm, I have seen the Janet planes fly over my house...I know that their are ET's so, I'm gonna stay skeptical on this one. BOL!

So go take a look ya are gonna think ET, or some evil cats are trying to send dogs the message that they can put miniature cats inside us. Those mini cats are there to control our thoughts.  Oh the conspiracy theories will be flying now.

Watch out kitty...we dogs are on to your lil tricks.

Las Vegas Dog Event Yoga with Rover

I'm sure you all have heard humans talk about doing the "Downward Dog" in yoga. Sheesh, humans have no clue how a real dog would do yoga. But, some people in Las Vegas are about to learn the "downward dog" from some real experts...Their dogs!

That's right Vegas Pooches you can take your human to a real yoga class!
On Saturday June 19, 2010 there is a special Yoga with Rover class.

This class will be taught by Amy Herzlich, she is a real dog lover, trainer, and owner of Innovative Pet Therapy. Oh yes, she even knows all about doggy massage (the ultimate rub down). Makes me feel good just thinking about it.

Dogs of all ages and breeds are welcome to bring their owner.

Now all you dogs have to make sure that you are people friendly and you get along with other dogs if you are going to attend. You also have to have all of your shots. We want to keep all our anipals safe during yoga.

You dogs also need to take a bath the day before the class and get a good brushing. We all want to look our best and we don't want to leave big fur balls everywhere since the class will be inside the Yoga Sanctuary. Please make sure your human has a bath too. Yuk, I don't want some stinky human thinkin they are going to pet me. BOL!

Be sure your humans pack some poop bags, a blanket, pillow, and your leash.

Now, I know that many of us dogs may not think yoga is all that important but, it is a good way to get your human to give you all their attention for the 2.5 hour class. It will also be a big health benefit to us and our people. I think all people will want to learn how to help us dogs by learning some gentle stretches and massage. Oh, I just thought of getting a good doggy massage again.

This event is also going to help charity! The $25 donation for the Yoga with Rover class will go to Heaven Can Wait. This is a great organization that is working hard to rescue animals. They also have a Low Cost Spay and neuter program to help responsible people get their animals fixed (not that we are broken...we just don't need any more homeless critters).

So all of you dogs from Las Vegas, Henderson, Pahrump...get your humans to go over to the web page 5th Annual Yoga with Rover and get signed up today!
